Terri Schlichenmeyer

The quintessential bookworm, Terri has worked as a radio DJ, candy-dipper, library aide, bookseller and radio writer. For fun, Terri reads, mows lawns and never, ever misses an episode of “ER.” She’s been reading since the age of three and all of her teachers predicted she would grow up to be a writer. Terri lives with her husband, three dogs, and 7,600 books.

Tom Aicklen

At the age of ten, Lacombe resident Tom Aicklen learned of his Cherokee ancestry from an uncle who revealed that Tom’s grandfather had named him Warren White Ram. Since then, he has developed an abiding interest in the indigenous cultures of the first Americans. An author, videographer, historian, environmentalist and tour guide, Tom also worked in the entertainment industry in Hollywood and in engineering planning for the space program in the 1960s.
