2004 is a milestone year for Jacqueline Baker. The owner of Jacqueline’s Family Hair Studio in Mandeville is celebrating her 20th year as a master stylist and colorist.

Now directing a full staff of six stylists, Jacqueline has earned a great deal of respect from her clients. “We put a great deal of emphasis on communicating with our clients and making every effort to accommodate every individual’s unique style and taste. The most important thing is that our customers are pleased and are always anxious to return, knowing they will get the utmost in service and attention.”

As evidenced by the name, Jacqueline’s caters to every family member–women, men and children all get extra special treatment. Children’s hairstyles are actually a specialty at Jacqueline’s. A video helps to keep them entertained while they get their haircut and then each child also receives a treat.

Jacqueline even provides exciting children’s birthday parties (they supply everything but the cake!) that feature girls’ up-dos, party champagne, a manicure and a fashion show to top it all off. Girls can either bring their party dresses or change into their dress after receiving their beauty treatment.

In addition to the most fashionable hairstyles for every member of the family, Jacqueline’s also provides manicures, pedicures, up-dos, shampoo-sets, coloring, perms and highlights–just to name a few.

Jacqueline’s Family Hair Studio is located in Beecham Place at 5150 Hwy. 22 in Mandeville. Walk-ins are always welcome, or call 845-2454 for an appointment. The Studio is open 9-5 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; 9-7 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday; and 9-3 p.m. on Saturday.
