Bijou Bistro and Blü Bar

Providing the ultimate northshore dining experience is the forte of talented duo Ansley Pair and Genia Hartman, owners of Bijoux Bistro and Blü Bar. The northshore natives have a strong background in the restaurant business. Genia, a Southeastern Louisiana University graduate, has years of experience in restaurant and bar management, as well as wine sales. Ansley’s parents, former owners of Cypress Bistro in Mandeville, also own Bistro Bijoux (“little gem”) in Sandestin, Florida.

Bijoux Bistro’s contemporary design reflects the pair’s impeccable taste, with a warm and cozy–but hip and cool–interior. You can eat at the bar, or in front of the fireplace for an intimate setting.

The real “gem” of Bijoux Bistro is found in the talent and skill of chef Pete Kusiw, whose French Creole creations have developed a loyal northshore following. His excellent blending of seafood, beef and tuna selections include such magnificent specialties as Asparagus Ansley, Trout Noccelo and Filet Bijoux.

The restaurant and bar feature specialty martinis and 45 wines by the glass, which are also available for purchase by the bottle in Juice, Ansley’s adjoining wine shop.

One of the northshore’s best restaurants, Bijoux Bistro and Blü Bar serves not only some of the finest fare, but also heaping portions of atmosphere and sophisticated fun.
