Kevin McDermott

Kevin writes freelance articles about the northshore which he hopes are examples of good writing for the students in the gifted English classes he teaches at Mandeville High. He has been a Mandeville resident for eight years, having moved here, like so many others, from the city across the lake.

Barbara Twardowski

Barbara believes every person has a story that is worth writing about. The stay-at-home mom has a master’s degree in journalism and spent fifteen years in corporate marketing. She often writes with her husband, Jim. The couple first met in college and worked together on the school newspaper. Their best collaboration is their son, Weston. Advocates for disabled people, their articles have been published in dozens of publications across the country.
