Inside Input

Dear Lori,

Once again, some superb cover art on recent ISNS! Graphically, and content-wise, everything gets progressively better and better each month. First class all the way, you and your staff can be very proud. Hope you have a great day.

We recently held a reception for cover artist Rhea Gary at Hugh’s Wine Cellar. (See her letter below.) Readers got a chance to compliment the artist in person and everyone had a great time! If you’d like to meet this issue’s cover artist, James Michalopoulos, join us at Étoile in Covington on Thursday, October 16 from 6:30-8:30pm. It promises to be another fun event.

Dear Martha,
What a nice gathering in Mandeville. The people were all so nice and I thank you for arranging the event. I loved meeting so many different people and all of you that put together a great magazine. Again, thank you for choosing my artwork for your cover.
Rhea Gary
Baton Rouge

Thanks, Rhea. As you can see from Don G.’s letter, our readers also appreciate your work!
-Martha

Dear Lori,
There’s not much more I can say, but “I love your magazine.” White space, catch phrases, cool design and fun stuff. Keep up the great work!!

I have to be honest, Erin. A lot of great work goes into making Inside Northside what it is, but I can’t possibly take all the credit for it. I will pass your encouragement along to our staff and contributors, whose names fill our masthead. They are a very talented and generous group. Thank you for your feedback!

Dear Lori,
What an article on Habitat for Humanity! People will be clamoring to take part next year. The kind comments about our efforts made my heart smile. Thank you doesn’t quite ring loud enough. God Bless you.

Dear Lori,
I enjoyed the article–”Back in the Saddle”–about the St. Tammany Hospital Foundation, Jennifer Rice and her fellow board members. I think the foundation goals will have a powerful impact on the entire community. Hats off to St. Tammany Parish Hospital and good luck to the foundation board.

Jennifer is a tremendous asset to the community and to the board. Thanks for writing!

Thanks for the overwhelming support of the M.O.R.E. Afghan relief project. We’ve already forwarded more than two truckloads of supplies and donations continue to arrive.

Congratulations to Tiffany Keating of Covington, winner of the Hidden Phrase contest for August/September.

Dear Lori,
Thanks so much for your article on osteoporosis by Nicole Broussard. The article was very informative and written in a way that one can understand without medical interpreters! I wish her the best of luck in her chosen career and hope she continues to fill us in on medical ailments in the future.
Giselle M.
Mandeville

I agree that Nicole has a bright future. We also wish her the best and look forward to future assignment opportunities. She is a great example of the northshore’s talented up and coming generation.
